Welcome to the Vaping Hub

New to vaping? We’ve made it simple. Explore our beginner-friendly guide and learn everything from pod systems to nicotine strengths.

Select a Topic to Learn More:

1. What is a Pod System? ▼

A pod system is a compact, refillable or pre-filled vape device designed for simplicity and convenience. They’re ideal for beginners because they’re easy to use, require very little maintenance and deliver a smooth nicotine experience.

Best For:
First-time vapers Everyday use Nicotine salts Discreet vaping
2. What is a Longfill? ▼

A Longfill is a bottle containing flavour concentrate with extra space for nicotine shots and/or base liquid. You simply add the required ingredients, shake well and enjoy a customised e-liquid.

Best For:
Saving money Custom nicotine strengths
3. What are Nic Salts? ▼

Nicotine salts are a smoother form of nicotine that absorbs into the body more quickly than traditional nicotine. They provide faster nicotine satisfaction while producing less throat irritation.

Best For:
Smokers switching to vaping Pod systems Higher nicotine strengths Low power devices
4. What is Freebase E-Liquid? ▼

Freebase nicotine is the traditional type of vape liquid. It produces more vapour and a stronger throat hit, making it popular with sub-ohm devices.

Best For:
Cloud chasing Lower nicotine strengths Bigger vape kits Direct-to-lung vaping
5. Nic Salts vs Freebase Breakdown Matrix ▼

Nic salts provide a smoother inhale and faster nicotine satisfaction, making them ideal for pod systems and beginners. Freebase provides larger clouds and a stronger throat hit, making it better suited to advanced vape kits.

Feature Nic Salts Freebase
Inhale Feel Smooth inhale Strong throat hit
Best Device Pod devices Sub-ohm devices
Nicotine Levels Higher nicotine Lower nicotine
User Profile Beginner friendly Experienced users
6. What is a Disposable Vape? ▼

A disposable vape is a single-use device that comes pre-filled and pre-charged. Once it’s empty, the device is disposed of responsibly.

Best For:
Trying vaping Travelling Convenience
7. What is a Coil? ▼

A coil is the heating element inside your vape. When you press the fire button or inhale, the coil heats the e-liquid and turns it into vapour.

Signs your coil needs replacing:
⚠️ Burnt taste ⚠️ Weak flavour ⚠️ Reduced vapour
8. What is Ohm Resistance? ▼

Ohms measure how resistant a coil is. Lower Ohms (0.2–0.6Ω) produce more vapour and more flavour at higher power thresholds. Higher Ohms (0.8–1.2Ω) operate under tighter power settings and are engineered intentionally for nicotine salts.

Lower Ohms (0.2–0.6Ω)
  • More vapour
  • More flavour
  • Higher power
  • Freebase liquids
Higher Ohms (0.8–1.2Ω)
  • Less vapour
  • Lower power
  • Nicotine salts
  • Longer battery life
9. What is MTL (Mouth-to-Lung)? ▼

MTL vaping mimics smoking a cigarette. Vapour is first drawn into the mouth before inhaling into the lungs.

Perfect For:
New vapers Ex-smokers Nicotine salts
10. What is DTL (Direct-to-Lung)? ▼

DTL vaping means inhaling vapour directly into the lungs, producing larger clouds and stronger flavour profiles.

Perfect For:
Experienced users Cloud enthusiasts Freebase liquids
11. How Long Does a Coil Last? ▼

Most coils last between 1 and 3 weeks, depending heavily on your device configuration setups and general e-juice sweetener criteria:

Sweetness of the liquid Frequency of use Power settings Coil type
12. Why Does My Vape Taste Burnt? ▼

A sudden burnt taste typically maps back to cotton saturation failure or extreme hardware parameters:

Most Common Causes:
Coil needs replacing E-liquid is too low Coil wasn’t primed properly Wattage is too high
